HUMP Day Tip

2.23.2011
  Use Condom Sense
Did you know that two-thirds of all individuals with an STD are under the age of 25? According to a Columbia University study, 20-25% of college students across the country have been infected with an STD or transmitted one to their partner. All too often many sexually active college students don't feel the need to visit a health care professional to get tested for STD's even when signs are present, though most of the time there are none. Most STD’s can be prevented if proper precautions are taken. Other than abstinence, condoms are the most effective and cost efficient way to prevent against STD’s. The Condom Sense program sells name brand condoms to Homewood students for $4 for a pack of 12. Respect yourself, protect yourself. To order click here.
